About Audiopoesis

Every new technology creates turmoil in the creative scene. When books became affordable due to Gutenbergs bookpress, people were afraid that young people would be only reading all day long and stop participating in the real world.

AI can feel dangerous and in certain areas definitely IS dangerous. It will and already does change entire industries. Closing your eyes and pretending it's not happening doesn't help. What helps is actively steering this wild horse.

We want to make sure that voice actors, who love what they are doing and create such a huge benefit by bringing worlds to life, can continue doing so. At the same time we see so much potential in AI voices, use cases where voice actors don't participate in, but can benefit from if they contribute to their development.

In videogames, we will sooner or later have conversational NPCs - but for the in-between video sequences game studios might want the extra 20% of quality that the AI voice can't deliver. This way AI voices create job opportunities for the actors.

Conversational AI agents need a voice - and the choice of voice is important. If you're selling a premium product, you don't want weird hiccups. You want a voice that your customers want to talk to and perceive your service as the improvement it is rather than a new-age liability.

The Audiopoesis founding team is made up of creatives as well as engineers. We love playing with new tech and we love creating things without a purpose, just for the sake of creating.

With AI voices we explore a frontier of sound that has been unheard of till now. The idea to build this business came from our excitement about this technology. It also came from the deep belief that artists should be paid fairly.
